This week has been of 2 extremes. Excitment and happyness of reuniting with an old friend to an extremely difficult day at work that led me crying 5 times and crying as I walked out through the hospital to my car. Fortunately the next day was much better. I carry a lot of the burden of my work close and personal instead of leaving it as it is or keeping it at a distance. And I carry it and let it eat me from the inside out.
Pamela Jean visited this week on her Spring Break! It was so good, so sweet, but too short. Our relationship is a funny story. We met through RUF 4 years ago. Outside of our "surfacy" chats at RUF or church, Pamela and I never really got to know each other. My second year at RUF I became good friends with Pamela's roommate, Alex, and more with our friend, Fitz. It was then decided that a group of girls would live together, altho don't ask me how I got on the list. Thankful I did, because I came out with some closer friends! Pamela and I lived together for only 4 months, but she became one of my besty bests! I think its because we shared a bathroom, an escapade to Birmingham and back, hurricane swimming days, and the same political views (hah).
Beach Day!! Love those nice and lazy beach days.

Miss you miss you MISS YOU!!! So thankful for you my sweet besty best. I had a fun week with you. I am glad you described our beach day as a lazy kind of day that you love (in spite of my complaining :)) Come see me in October! K?!
And I am praying that you will know what an amazing nurse you are, and what a difference you make in the lives of your patients and coworkers, even on the days that suck and make you cry. And if you decide you want to stay a nurse, great. And if you decide to change your career, that's ok too!!
So fun! I'm glad you all had a blast.
